Film Festival Diagonale Graz

Hello again!
As some of you maybe know, in the city of Graz, Austria a film festival has taken place this week, the yearly "Diagonale".
I had the chance to see two movies during the festival. "Der Fall des Lemming" and "South". Both were produced by Austrians, like all films, that were shown at the festival. Know about the movies.

Der Fall des Lemming
This movie is somehow a typical austrian movie, although there is not so much typical about it. The main characters are played by Roland Düringer(Krotznig), Julia Koschitz(Klara Breitner) and Fritz Karl(Leopold Wallisch).
The movie is about the former policeman Wallisch, who is now a private detective and the case about a murder he wants to solve. His former boss and tormentor Krotznig is also hunting the murderer, but he is tracing Wallisch, because he is not competent enough to solve the case on his own.
All in all the movie has a very exciting and hooking storyline, including some funny, some disgusting and some thrilling scenes.

South
The movie is about a bank robber, who is fleeding from Oregon to New York. Before his escape, he received a book. More and more he remembers what has happened when he was young. He wants to escape to south america, but since the bank robbery he is badly injured. Ant the police is coming closer...
Yesterday the movie premiered in Austria in Graz and a big part of the crew was present. The most interesting thing about the movie is, that the shooting lasted for about 12 years! There were some problems about the rights and funding. But finally the movie is finished and is really worth seeing it. By the way, the whole movie is black and white
